The Professional Accountancy program at BHSU is a fi ve-year program (150 credit hours) that prepares you for the Uniform Certifi ed Public Accounting
Examination as well as other specialized professional accounting examinations. This program teaches you to think critically; analyze and solve challenging accounting and business issues both individually and in a team; appreciate and embrace diversity; and strategically anticipate and adapt to change.
Students are taught by an interdisciplinary team of accomplished faculty.
Many business faculty members have held management positions in business. We have faculty experienced in starting new business ventures, operating their own businesses, and holding upper level management positions in large corporations. This kind of practical experience brings a unique perspective to the classroom.
BHSU also offers a four-year (120 credit hours) Bachelor of Science in
Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting for students interested in corporate accounting. This degree also provides fl exibility for students having prior academic credit and who wish to work towards meeting the 150-hour requirement for the CPA exam.
