I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Penn State University. My major was marketing. I am a member of the Virginia Association of Marketing Educators (VAME), the National Education Association (NEA), the Virginia Education Association (VEA) and the Loudoun Education Association. I have been happily married for 27 years to my husband Gilbert Veney. I have two children, Gil and Amber. Gil is a graduate of The University of Virginia and has taken graduate classes at Liberty University. Amber has attended the University of Virginia and is looking forward to completing her bachelor's degree. I have been working with students of all ages for over twelve-five years. It is the challenge of getting each child to perform at his or her best ability that motives me to continue to work with students. Grades are awarded on a point system, depending upon the material to be evaluated, and at the teacher’s discretion. Grades will be averaged each quarter and report cards will reflect a letter grade. Class participation expectations: Consistently attend class and be on time; consistently be prepared (pen/pencil/paper; take reasonable break time (if applicable); consistently stay on task; ask pertinent questions during lesson.
