My Thoughts
Exhibition Contract
In order for our exhibition group to be sucessful, we need to personify IB
attitudes. So each of us can enjoy and learn from this endeavor, we need to
embody certain attributes. I agree I will be a model for younger students and
that I will do my best to contribute to this group. I agree that:
o I will be prepared by having all assigned work completed (Principled).
o I will listen to others when they are talking and respond to them in a
respectful and constructive way (Communicator).
o I will make good use of class time to complete my assignments so that
I have time outside of school to do the things I want to do (WellBalanced).
o I will share my thoughts and feelings with the rest of the group (RiskTaker).
o I will ask questions when I get confused and seek clarification to my
questions (Inquirer).
o I will put my best effort into my work (Thinker).
o This group is a team, and I will do my best to work with the members
of my team so we can all be successful (Caring).
o I understand I learn best by reflecting on what I’ve learned
(Reflective).
o I will be tolerant and open to the ideas of others in my group (OpenMinded).
o I will apply my learning to new situations to help me understand
information (Knowledgeable).
I agree that I will be responsible and adhere to these requirements. If I need
to be reminded twice that I am not being a responsible team member, I will
accept the consequences of being removed from my Exhibition Group and will
work independently.

Step 5: Take Action!
What issue are we
researching?
What are some effective
actions our group could
take to make a difference?
What challenges are
associated with each of
the ideas above?
Which of the above is the
most achievable? Why?
How does our chosen
action relate to the
Central Idea?
How does our action
make a positive difference
to address the issue we
are researching?
Can we conduct it locally?
If so, what transportation
may we need?
Does our action require
money?
Does our action require
help from adults?
Step 6: Share What You Have Learned!
Now that you have gathered your research and conducted your action, it’s time to show
what you’ve learned through this process. Your presentation should:
o
o
o
o
o
be creative
address the central idea
address your key concepts
list your resources
highlight the action you took
Phase 1: Briefly describe your presentation. What will it look like? What is the format?
