Balance180:Special Olympics • 1st Special Olympics Young Athletes Program (YAP) in Alachua County: innovative & adaptive sports program for children with intellectual disabilities and their peers, ages 2-7. • Must commit to MINIMUM of 5 days. • Meet on Tuesdays, Thursdays, & occasional Saturday. ▫ 5:15-6:30pm; arrive 15 minutes early! • Jan 29th – April 7th (culminating event on the 7th) Balance180: Special Olympics (Training) • Tuesday, January 22 and Thursday, January 24 from 5:30-7:00 pm (Tonight and this Thursday!) ▫ previous volunteers drop in to one of the meetings from 6:30-7:00 pm and hand in your paperwork • Location: Santa Fe Center for Innovation and Economic Development (CIED) ▫ 530 West University Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601 • Check Facebook for: ▫ Balance180 Gym (pictures, updates) ▫ Balance180 Gym Volunteers (specific info for volunteers) Hand Camp: Hands to Love www.handstolove.org • Camp for kids with upper limb differences and their families.
