Western New York Physics Olympics November 17, 2007 Do you want to test your problemsolving ability? Maybe just see how fun physics can be? Get a few of your physics friends together and join us at the Physics Olympics. The Physics Olympics is a low-stakes competition for teams of 2-4 middle or high school students. The events will be held at the Science Building, Buffalo State College, starting 8:30-1:30 at Buffalo State College. Each team will work through three events, each lasting 30-45 minutes, with small prizes for the winning team(s) of each event and the overall winner. Pizza, pop and a demonstration show will follow the activities as the score are calculated. If you are interested, talk to your science teacher for more information.
