1. Create a Large spreadsheet in which to perform What If Analysis and Charting.
Specific Objectives – SWBAT:
a. Create a series of month names
b. use absolute cell references in formulas
c. Use the IF function to perform a logical test
d. Create Sparkline charts in a range of cells
e. Use the Format Painter button to format cells
f. Create a 3-D pie chart on a separate chart sheet
g. Answer What-If questions
h. Manipulate large worksheets

3-9-15 Monday Agenda:
 Review keys learned thus far: home-row, t, e, h, o, r, n, m, c
 Practice letter response, word response, and 3 to 4-word phrases
Warm-up activities:
 Practice student’s first name by touch method via home-row keys
o 1st two tries CAN look at fingers; next 3 tries NO looking at fingers—look at the
picture handout of the keyboard or the picture of keyboard on the chalkboard
when you practice your 1st name
 (REMINDER: MIDDLE FINGER “D” Strikes the “C” key—to get middle finger to “c”
stronger “point” pointer finger toward the ceiling so can pivot the middle finger easier
to the bottom row “c” key—introduced it for the 1st time last week)
 (REMEMBER: to use “Pinky” finger Returns)
o Lesson “C” page 10 lines 1 & 4
Students share with the class silly alliteration phrases they came up with from last week
Class will practice typing them

goals/assign. before going to the lab. (give students their keyboarding folder)
