Sean’s Mystery Of Manor
Lodge!!!
I'm just after moving into this house and I hate it already.
I have no one to talk to or to play with and no one is at
home except my baby brother, my annoying older
brother and I. So there wasn't much to do. It was a dark
rainy night and the wind was moaning through the trees,
branches swaying across that house up the road that
gives me that unpleasant feeling anytime I glance at it.
To top it all off there was a power out so no electricity.
There were candles everywhere and the thought of that
house was making me shiver with fear. I wished my
Mam and Dad didn't make us move here. They had said
that once we moved here we would spend more time
together but now I realise they only moved here because
of work. I know how this family work. Jobs first family
second. Anyway I kept thinking of that house so I went
to bed extremly confused.
Chapter 2 The next day.....
I woke up really early and I realised someone had opened
my curtains. It was really sunny out and I heard some
noise. It sounded like a hoover so I ran down. I saw my
brother in the kitchen having breakfast while on his
phone. I asked him what he was doing on his phone “I'm
on instagram” he replied. And I saw my baby brother
watching T.V while eating cereal. He was so engrossed
in the show he was watching and I knew that because I
said mam and dad are back and he didn't move a muscle.
So I went to the living room and stared right through the
window and again I saw that house. I felt shivers down
my spine. I felt like going in the house and looking at it
though I just had to go there.
A few hours after my mam and dad FINALLY returned I
asked my mam if my cousin Connor could come over
since he lives down the road (I think that's the only perk
of moving here!). So he did come and we went up to my
room and I asked him if he wanted to venture with me to
that house and investigate it with me.”NO!!!” he shouted.
I said calm down my Mam can hear you!
I said we could be like the Kids' CIA but he still refused.
So I had no one to ask except my brother. Callum
thought about it (A.K.A my older brother) and then
muttered yeah. He also said it would be cool to take a
'selfie' there and post it on Instagram. A few moments
after my mam said Aunt Helen is coming over to mind
you and I said deadly so she can mind Cian (A.K.A my
younger brother). So she arrived at 9 o'clock and that's
when we left.
Chapter 3 The last chapter as it
happened…..
We went the road to the house and my bro Callum
knocked on the door but it just opened. We stepped
inside…. I felt an adrenaline rush going through my
body….. I'm sweating and can you believe it….Callum
just starts taking selfies!
Then we saw a deformed old man.. he started walking
forward and the door slammmed shut. We ran to the
door… we tried pushing and pulling and kicking the door
but it wouldn't budge! The creepy man got really close.
I looked at his eyes but he had no pupils at that moment.
I thought he was possessed. We tried pushing pulling and
kicking the door again but it still wouldn't budge next
thing I knew BANG!!!! he pounced on both of us.........
Next thing I knew our hands and legs were chained to a
wall he looked at us and he had a swiss army knife
glinting in his hand. He snarled that if we made a sound
you won't believe what I’m going to do to you two.
Callum didn't seem to care…. he was going to scream
but before a sound came out of his throat SWISH! the
old man had stabbed him. He was in so much pain but no
sound came out. I could see tears coming out of his eyes
and I saw the blood trickling down his throat and chest
and all I could do was cry.
My brother and me used this sign language and he told
me to promise him one thing for him when he died… To
mercilessly kill that old man and avenge him. That was
the only thought going through my mind because I was
dead determined to kill that old man. He took off the
chains to free me but I took him down and started
punching him then I started choking him and I found that
knife. Then I ended his life…sorry…it’s too gruesome
to describe! I had fulfilled my promise to my brother.
I walked home shaking and passed out on my bed. I
never forgot that house. It went under the name of Manor
Lodge.
