• Usually occur in area
of MTJ or insertion of

• Result from:
– Repetitive overuse
– Single violent

chronic
Cramps
• A sudden, involuntary contraction of a
muscle
• Contributing factors include:
– Fatigue
– Fractures
– Dehydration
– Lack of nutrients in diet
– Poor flexibility
– Improperly fitted equipment
