Notebook Expectations:
A tidy and well organized notebook is important for success in this course. Notebook checks will be
carried out at the end of each of the four units. Notebooks will be collected on the day of the unit test.
 Your science notes should be kept in a single binder. Notes for other courses should not be kept
in your science binder.
 Your science notes should be kept in order. The easiest way to do this is to number your pages
and write the date in the top right-hand corner.
 The first page of each unit should be the title page, followed by a table of contents. The title
page and table of contents outline will be given to you, but it is your job to fill it in each day.
 Refer to the notebook rubric for how you will be evaluated.
