Prerequisite: ACSM 120, or satisfactory score on ACSM 120 placement test.
Keyboarding ability required.
This course will introduce students from any discipline to the major components of
database management systems with a thorough coverage of database use and
applications. Students will use the database to create files and business reports, including
file design and maintenance, report generation, and advanced concepts.

RELATIONSHIP TO ACADEMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS AND

This course fulfills 3 hours of credit for the A.A. degree in Microcomputer Application
and for the Certificate in Microcomputer Applications. However, since it is not part of
either the General Education Core Curriculum or a baccalaureate majors program
