A national centre of expertise to improve the way police respond to child sexual exploitation (CSE) will be
established, it has been announced: National centre for CSE research to launch

The National Youth Agency has announced that Youth Work Week 2015 will be held from 2nd – 8th
November. Youth Work Week is the annual celebration of youth work and provides an opportunity for youth
organisations, youth workers and young people to celebrate their achievements and the impact of their

A new Keighley organisation has ambitious plans to engage young people in improving one of the town's
neighbourhoods. Members of Youth Vision have already joined forces with Bradford Council to carry out a

The earnings prospects of younger people are being scarred permanently because older workers are
staying longer in the same job, according to new research. Their jobs are also more insecure than those of
older people, the Resolution Foundation think tank found: Young People lose out twice
One third of young people have made friends online with people they did not know before and over
half of these have met up in person. 40% of boys have made friends with strangers online compared to

Leeds Innovation Fund 2015 has been launched. A strategic grants programme funded by Leeds City
Council and managed by the Leeds Community Foundation. The focus of the Fund is to support innovation
and new ways of working that deliver services that have an impact on the lives of local citizens. The
activities need to be delivered by a third sector organisation, with the support of Leeds City Council:
