Dear Parents,
Please join us on Friday evening for our annual falcon festival!
Our 4th grade team will be receiving Texas Studies Weekly as
one of our social studies resources this year. We are asking that
parents donate $4.75 towards the cost of the articles. This
donation can be made in cash and can be paid at your earliest
convenience. Thank you for your support!!
Our room parents are asking for $2.00-$5.00 donations for our
hair spray painting booth for the falcon festival. Please send in
your donations as soon as possible.
Many of you have asked for spelling resources. I have asked
several teachers for their suggestions, and they have all
suggested www.spellingcity.com. I will also be sending home a
list of fourth grade words that we will work on during our word
work time.
Classworks is currently not available, but I will send out an e-mail
when it is working. I have assigned assignments that can be
done at home. Go to our school website and under the student
tab choose classworks. Your child’s username is their ID, and
the password is abc123.
MATHDivision
LANGUAGE ARTSStudents will learn how to make a plan sheet, and we will
begin writing a persuasive essay about our school or
school district. Students will also learn about context
clues while reading.
ScienceWe will learn about weather and how if affects our every
day lives.
Social StudiesWe will keep track of current events.
