World Literature Paper (Written Assignment) Revision Checklist
IB English A Literature
I have double-checked that my MLA header is left-aligned and includes: my name, teacher’s name,
course name, date due
My entire paper is double-spaced
I have a title for my paper that is centered in the middle of the page, and has the same font and size
as the rest of my paper (no bold, italics, quotation marks, etc.)
At the top right of every page, I have a header with my last name and page number: Chase 1
My font is Times New Roman 12-pt or similar, and is consistent throughout the entire paper
I have 1-inch margins
I have a clear, arguable thesis that I consistently maintain throughout the entirety of my paper
I include quotes from the novel, with in-text citations
I give proper credit (in-text and on Works Cited page) for ALL quoted or paraphrased material
I include a properly formatted Works Cited page in MLA format
I have carefully considered Mrs. Chase’s feedback and implemented suggested revisions
I have asked one or two people (peers, family…) to edit my paper for grammatical content, and
have made needed revisions
I have included my REVISED Reflective Statement (300-400 words) on the topic of my novel, and
have included this as part of my final World Literature document (to be submitted to IB with paper)
I have verified that my paper (excluding header and Works Cited page) is 1200-1500 words
I have compared my paper to the World Lit (Written Assignment) rubric, and have evaluated my
work in comparison to IB’s requirements
I have submitted an electronic copy of my paper (via email or Google docs) to Mrs. Chase
