Study Abroad Programs in Japan
☆ Depending on your proficiency level/academic goals/schedules/requirements/financial needs,
you may want to find the right program. Be sure to consult with your instructor as well as the ISO
advisor, Ryan Hathaway, to find out what program would be best for you.
☆ Most of the programs require recommendation letters from UVa faculty. Contact your
instructors/professors at least 14 days in advance to have them write a letter for you. Ask nicely (!)
when you approach them. Also, don't forget to keep them updated, especially about the result of your
application.
