Strengths
Apples finances are definitely at an AAA rating. Looking at their books, one will see that
the debt of Apple Inc. is none. Apple Inc. has $179 billion dollars at their ready after all
expenses. Considered to be the strongest companies in the world financially, Apple Inc. even
has the ability to purchase some countries out right if it were probable.
Apple Inc. has a growing range of product purchasers. With every new product put
forward for public consumption, the number of buyers grows dramatically. When it comes to
their manufacturing suppliers, they are vast and located throughout the world.
Weakness
Lawsuits can hurt any company, but can also liberate them and make them more
desirable toward investors. Apple Inc. currently has a few lawsuits pending, one for e-book
readers, one for product development of touch pads, and another in electronic development.
When it comes to advertisement, Apple In. could do more to enhance their sales thru more
structured advertisements. One serious problem has is with finished supplies brought to the
market for sale. As new products hit the market, Apple’s shortfalls have come from not having
enough demanded products on store shelves. This has pushed impatient customers toward other
competitors substitute components.
Opportunity
Product Command is an opportunity that Apple Inc. can focus on and be even more of
dominating factor in the electronic, cell phone, and personal computer industry.
Product development brings about a globalized demand. Every time Apple Inc. puts forward a
new product or an upgrade to an existing product, such as the IPad3, the response for this
product has created an overwhelming demand. For every new product Apple Inc. institutes, the
more limited other competitors become.
Threats
As competitors develop more products to compete with Apples growing demands, pricing
will be more favorable to buyers more than a technological demand. The more products have
similarities, the more consumers feel they have a choice and will utilize pricing to their
advantage. When new competitors enter the market, Apple and other companies will feel market
demands switch. Depending on the product will determine the amount of buyer demands will
make emphasized upon new technical products.
