Make flash cards that show how to
write decimals correctly in tenths
and hundredths. Test your partners

LANGUAGE OBJECTIVE
SWBAT calculate given percentages of
quantities and solve problems at the
end of week using academic
vocabulary percent and proportion.
SWBAT explain their Mental and Emotional
Health while using the academic
vocabulary: abstinence, decisions,
emotional shifts, emotions, express,
hormone, parents/guardians, realistic,
reinforce, self-esteem, self-concept
Students will understand that
fractions and decimals are two
different representations of the
same concept and use the academic
vocabulary: decimal, tenths, and
hundredths.
STANDARDS
By the end of the week, students will
be able to demonstrate an
understanding of how to find the
percent estimate and equation of a
number.

Health.
Complete all work in the Health Workbook
for Chapter 2, page 8 to 13.
Copy the academic words and define them
on your Chapter 2 foldable.
Complete Lesson 4-1, pages 56 to
62.
Copy the academic words and
define them on a card and test your
partner each day.
TEST
Your test will be Mid-Chapter Quiz on
page 368. Make sure to copy the
entire quiz, show work and answers.
Your test will be Chapter 2 Assessment on
page 50, questions 1 to 17. Make sure to
write the questions and answers.

pages 58 to 62 in your work book.
