Summer Reading Assignments 12TH GRADE World Literature/Composition and ESOL 12th World Lit./Comp. School Year 2012/2013 Listed below are two literary works that will comprise a portion of the Fall Semester course materials for World Lit/Comp 122. The works are listed in the order that they will be assigned. Because the time allotted for reading will be limited once the materials are assigned as part of their respective unit studies, students should take advantage of the summer break to “get ahead.” Below each title is a brief description of the work as well as a few comments intended as guidance. A more complete discussion and study of the works will take place during the course semester. Assignments and assessments will not be given nor taken until that time.
