We strongly recommend SmartMusic. This one-of-a-kind software is an invaluable tool for athome practice. It will help your child stay motivated, practice more, submit their school assignments, and progress more quickly. Plus, it’s fun!
We will be using SmartMusic during lessons for practice and assessment. Having SmartMusic at home will help your child practice more effectively and complete assignments with ease. Last year, we found that students who used SmartMusic at home showed great improvement in their playing.

*If your computer has an internal microphone, you may not need to use a SmartMusic microphone. However, the program does work more effectively WITH the microphone.
2. When your child brings home the SmartMusic CD-ROM, install the software and activate your subscription with the code provided by your child’s director.
Activation takes a few minutes and requires an Internet connection. An Internet connection is also required to receive and submit assignments via the SmartMusic Gradebook and to download accompaniments.
3. Start practicing! You can learn how to set up and use SmartMusic by watching the
