Sept. 16-17: Rethink:Mission Conference
Sept. 17th: Baylor Missions Meet & Eat
Sept. 23rd or 24th: Team Leader Orientation 3pm -5pm @ Bobo
OCTOBER 2013
*ALL: Host a couple interest meetings for your trip in Oct/Nov. Chat with
Holly for ideas about what to talk about, how to promote/recruit, etc. Also,
you can host a table at any of the events listed below for October.




Oct. 1st: Missions Dr Pepper Hour 3pm-4pm @ Barfield
Oct. 7th: Go Global! Interest Meeting (5:30pm @ Bobo)
Oct. 9th: Missions Fair @ Chapel
Oct. 23rd: REQUIRED Team Leader Meeting (4pm-5pm @ Bobo)






Feb. 5th: Airfare Roster Due for May/June Trips
Feb. 19th: $ DEADLINE
o 50% of Total Trip Cost Due (May/June Trips) (Airfare Cost)
Feb. 26th: Deadline for Scholarship Applications (May/June/July Teams)
MARCH 2014


March 19th: $ DEADLINE
o No $ Due for May/June Trips this month  Just check up on students
to make sure they’re getting close to the 75% mark
March 19th: MATERIALS DEADLINE (May/June/July Trips)
o Passport, vaccination records (Zambia only), & Visa Applications
NOVEMBER 2013
*ALL: You don’t have to wait until December to pick your team. If you have
someone you really want, go ahead & let them know they’re accepted. That
way they can start fundraising early & help you recruit additional team
members!
APRIL 2014


Nov. 20th: REQUIRED Team Leader Meeting (4pm-5pm @ Bobo)


DECEMBER 2013


Dec. 4th: Applications Deadline (SB & May/June Trips)
Dec. 18th: Application Acceptances Announced
Leaders have until 12/18 to contact students to let them know of their acceptance status
to their teams. You can Accept/Waitlist/Reject students via BearsAbroad. You will need to
contact students via email by this date at the latest. Once students are contacted, they
have until January 22nd to make their first payment & securing a place on a 2014 team.
NO MONEY IS DUE BEFORE CHRISTMAS BREAK THIS YEAR!




o REQUIRED for all May/June/July teams both Domestic & Global
o Turn in all OGC releases and waivers.

o May/June trip account balance must be paid in full by this date in
order to participate
April 18th: Final Itineraries Due (May/June Trips) (30 Days before
Departure!)
April 18th: AHP Insurance roster of participants DUE (May/June Trips)
April TBA: Meet with Baylor Health Services for Malaria prescriptions

*May/June Trips: Before Departure- Submit list of overseas cell phone
numbers to Holly. If cell phones will be purchased overseas, a list of cell
phones must be emailed to Holly within 48 hours of arrival.
*May/June TBD: REQUIRED One-on-One Team Leader Meetings with
Becky/Holly


