Functional Area and Specializations: While some courses may count for more than 1 functional area, each
course may only be used to satisfy 1 functional area. Conversely, if a course counts toward more than 1
specialization, it can satisfy each specialization. (Example: MBA AF 616 Financial Statement Analysis
satisfies either Accounting or Finance for a Functional Area, but it satisfies both Accounting and Finance for
each of those specializations).
Students are not required to complete a specialization. If you decide you would like to specialize, please
see the department for more information.
