LANGUAGE ARTS
Listening and Speaking:
The students will:
 Recognize and produce consonants Rr, Ss, Tt and Vv and learn
vocabulary words.
 Find common ideas between two stories.
 Identify the information needed to solve a specific problem.
 Express main ideas clearly and logically.
Initial reading
The students will:
 Identify, match and write consonants Rr, Ss, Tt and Vv.
 Identify and apply consonants Rr, Ss, Tt and Vv to specific words.
 Remember series of events in the correct order after listening stories.
 Understand details of a story read by the teacher.
Initial writing
The students will:
 Identify, match and trace consonants Rr, Ss, Tt and Vv.
 Trace and copy vocabulary words.
 Trace their name and last name.
 Order shorts letters and figures using their memory.
MATHEMATICS
The students will:
 Work with seen geometric shapes.
 Identify, count and match numbers from 0-50.
 Identify the concepts: the same, equal, as much as, less, less than.
 Develop measures of time (clock and calendar).
 Review additions and subtractions.
 Learn about length concept (meters).
 Practice relationship up-down, over-under.
SCIENCE




Zoo, farm and water animals.
SOCIAL STUDIES
The students will:
 Explore their local environment to describe it.
 Where is my school?
 Where do I live?
 Principal characteristics of my city (Monterrey).
 Learn about March (Mexican Oil Expropriation (18), Benito Juarez’s
Birth (21), 1st day of spring (21st)) and April holidays (Children’s day
(30th)).
ESPAÑOL
Escucha y Expresión Oral
Los estudiantes:
 Formulan oraciones afirmativas y negativas
 Reconocen y producen el sonido de las consonantes Rr, Ss, Tt y Vv.
 Producen las palabras del vocabulario, a través del uso de las
consonantes Rr, Ss, Tt, Vv; y las vocales.
 Describen los procesos que se llevaron a cabo para la solución de
problemas.
Lectura Inicial
Los estudiantes:
 Identifican palabras del vocabulario con las consonantes iniciales Rr,
Ss, Tt y Vv.
 Identifican las sílabas iniciales con las consonantes Rr, Ss, Tt, Vv y las
vocales.
 Riman palabras conocidas
 Desarrollan la secuencia de una historia a través de dibujos.
 Leen en voz alta palabras del vocabulario.
Escritura Inicial
Los estudiantes:
 Trazan y escriben palabras del vocabulario.
 Reconocen y escriben las consonantes iniciales y finales de 5 palabras
conocidas.
 Empatan formas de letras.
 Cortan líneas curvas y círculos.
 Trazan su nombre y apellido.
COMPUTER

ART
The students will:
 Continue applying artistic processes, skills, materials and tools to
communicate meaning.
 Apply what they have learned in the visual arts across subject areas.
 Comprehend meaning from works of art, including their own according
to the elements of art, the principles of design, and aesthetic qualities.

MUSIC
The students will:
 Continue assessing and deriving meaning from works of music and
performance of musicians according to the elements of music, aesthetic
qualities and human responses.
 Continue noticing cultural diversity as it relates to music, musicians, and
composers.
 Compose and arrange music applying vocal and instrumental musical
skills in performing a varied repertoire of music.
DANCE
The students will:
 Respond to visual and sound stimuli with original movement.
 Name and play children’s dance games from countries around the
world.
 Demonstrate movement skills, process sensory information using the
elements of dance.
 Describe movements using the vocabulary of dance.
 Describe how everyday movements can be used in dance.
 Respond spontaneously to different types of music and rhythms.
 Create movements that reflect a variety of daily tasks and activities.
GYM & SPORTS
The students will:
 Develop fine and gross motor control on different contexts.
