Respect in the classroom
What does it look like?
Not preventing others from learning.
Not having side conversation while I or another
student is speaking
Using respectful language towards other
students and towards teacher.
Not being WASTEFUL (paper, markers, etc.)
Respect for property.
Writing on desks, leaving garbage, taking other
people’s things, GUM, etc.
Beginning of Class
Please enter calmly.
Please put ALL electronics away.
Please be in YOUR seat by the time the
bell rings.
Complete the “Entrada” within 5-8mins.

Electronics
iPads will be closed and put away when we are not using
them for a class-directed activity. Period.
I do not want to see cell phones out, on desks or in
your hands. Period.
iPods/ other mP3 players are not allowed during class
unless it is independent work time.
Even if it isn’t playing, no earphones in your ears
during class, please.
Texting your mom/dad is not an excuse to text.
Participation points will be taken away after 1 warning.

pencil to make corrections.

Each Entrada/ Activity is worth 5 pts
5 pts = (corrections and/or note, complete)
-2 pts per activity without corrections OR all stars
and no note!
-1 pt per activity for corrections in same color

MUST HAVES
Bathroom privileges
The appropriate time to use the bathroom is
before school, HH, lunch or after school.
During class, “Pausa” is the appropriate time
to use the bathroom. 2 people out at a time
only.
You get 4 excused, during class trips to the
bathroom per/sem. If you do not use these,
you will get 2 pts ea. Xtra credit.
