Click on MP4 Periscope . This will take you to the CNN Student News Story: “Up Periscope!”

Read the title and look at the slideshow by clicking on Next or Previous. Read the slideshow captions.

Task: Now, read the article.
6.
At the end of the article, answer the math questions. These are self-checking.

After reading the article you will work with your partner to answer some questions in an activity called Question Cards . Through this activity you will demonstrate and share your understanding of what you read.
