In it he gives his vision for the Church(which he is modelling)and addresses such questions as - How can we be joyful Christians in view of all the world problems today? - How do we bear witness to the vibrancy of our faith while respoecting those with other or no faith? - What kind of Church do we need to meet the real needs of people today? - What does it mean to be a “missionary disciple” to which we are all called. (His words) It is obviously a major document on evangelisation, which is the hope of the church, and will dictate the direction of the church in the years ahead. It is imperative the we know what it teaches us and encourages us to do. - Get a copy of the document from the Cathedral bookshop or download from Diocesan web-site. - Attend the three evenings on the document in Lent - Attend the full day – March 22nd (See below) Evangelisation Leaflets There should be a sample set of leaflets in every parish. They will help us to reach out to others and continue themes of the Year of Faith. More available from Sr Michael Very useful for RCIA and Journey of Faith programmes.
