Problem of the day!!
How can we solve
Sofia’s problem by
using fraction?
Using Fraction on Sofia’s Problem
If Sofia has only one cake. How can she share
it equally with her two friends so that all of
them be happy?
Answer of the problem
Sofia needs to divide it into 3
equal parts. Therefore, the
answer is letter c so that each
one gets an equal share.
If tina and sabrina will take the 2
parts, the fractional part of the
whole would be;
two parts of three is two thirds.

How do we know the value of a
digit in a fraction?
Since sofia has two friends, she need to
divide it into 3 parts. Tina and Sabrina
already received their parts and the
remaining part is for sofia, therefore
one part of three is one third.

Conclusion
We learned that knowing how
to do math and understanding
fraction is really important.
Like in sharing, to avoid our
friends to get mad, we need
to use fractions in order for
us to share fairly.
