 2-10-14: What issue are you going to write your
research paper over? Energy Drinks, Plastic Surgery
on Teens, or Electronic Alternative to cigarettes.
 What point of view do you have on the issue?

 2-12-14: Read one of the articles that you printed out
yesterday. Write down 3 quotes from the article that
you think you will use in your research paper.
 As you read start to annotate your articles, also start to
make a new pros and cons list tailored to your topic.
 Think about what is your strongest and weakest
arguments.
 Also don’t forget to label quotes for the opposing side.
 2-13-14: What are 3 questions you have about college
life, dorm life, or Greek life (fraternities or sorority)?
 Make sure you have your articles are read, highlighted,
and annotated.
 2-14-14: Look at your annotated articles. Write down 3
quotes from the articles that are on the opposite side
of your argument.
 Make a new outline with your thesis statement.
 Think about what is your strongest and weakest
arguments.
 Read over essay example and rubric.
