ATTENTION PARENTS:
Halloween Parade: It will be in the morning at 8:45 a.m. on Oct 31st.
Students are to come dressed for the parade. We will begin our parade with the kindergarten
students and wrap our way around the back playground until all classes have joined in. We expect
our parade to be done by 9:30 a.m. Grades 1-5 students will be expected to change out of their
costumes so that we can have a productive remainder of a school day.
This is a Minimum school day for grades 1-5 (8:25 – 12:31 p.m.)
Kindergarten/DKA/SDC students will attend regular time. We are encouraging parents that come
for the parade to take home the costumes so that they are not a distraction the rest of the day.
Important Reminders: Costumes must be school appropriate! They should not be too scary, bloody
or gory. (We do not want our younger students scared!) Our dress code is expected to be followed.
No bare midriffs or undergarments should be seen. Absolutely no play/toy weapons should be
brought to our school. This should be a fun event for all!
