
Aircraft Maintenance Organizational Superintendent. Oversaw daily operations of all aspects of aircraft
maintenance. Responsible for 1000+ aircraft mechanics and technicians to include oversight of daily
production metrics, training and qualification programs as well as quality reviews and improvement
initiatives--recognized as Senior Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter.

Program Manager. Responsible for coordinating activity between multiple contractors and military
agencies as part of a combined test force--awarded Air Force Flight Test Center 2011 Test Team of the
Year.

Unit Program Coordinator. Managed all unit level programs for 600 person unit. Worked directly for
commander controlling all unit level programs and personnel actions. Formulated, documented, and
reviewed all unit publications, documents and products. Organized and lead unit level meetings, briefing,
and tours. Conducted program reviews and coordinated inspections from outside units and higher
headquarters.
DUTIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS
MANAGEMENT

Planned and executed 8 aircraft deployment package; organized/prepared 125 technicians along with $7
million dollars of equipment--provided critical joint forces training.

Orchestrated first-ever home station checks on 10 deployed B-1B aircraft, established key inspection
criteria, and saved thousands of dollars in rotating aircraft in and out of theater--received the Lieutenant
General Leo Marquez award for management.

Upgraded training curriculum and methods, cross-trained personnel in job duties resulting in lower
supervision requirements and a significant cost savings in overtime and overhead costs.
OPERATIONS & LOGISTICS

Capitalized on Six Sigma skills to successfully monitor 19 unique programs, identify noncompliance areas
and permanently rectify errors using root-cause analysis--received excellent overall rating from
command's Inspector General.

Primary logistical advisor for a 550 personnel unit and responsible for $40 million in equipment.
Managed a $1.25 million budget and 21 separate programs.

A recognized expert in planning and executing complex operations with 100% accuracy and success,
including the scheduling and timely transfer of millions of dollars’ worth of equipment to maintain and
support operations in foreign locations. Returned 140 line items valued at $280 thousand to base
supply for reuse.
AUTOMATION & COST CONTROL

Designated maintenance liaison for Boeing during major B-1B software and hardware upgrade--fused
together all integration and testing metrics--ensured $1.7 million test platform completed.

Supervised input and operation of Boeing Corporation SAPPHIRE maintenance database oversaw
upgrade; automated 6K technical evaluation entries, reducing errors and operating time 40%.

Spearheaded LEAN process to improve aircraft rebuilt--saved 450 man-hours and 10 days of wasted
maintenance efforts--aircraft returned to service within allotted 30 day window.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Served as a Field Training Detachment Instructor. Drafted and implemented specialist section training
plan; 45% work force upgraded 4 months early; benchmarked program for avionics working group-awarded Air Education and Training Command Junior Instructor of the Year.

Redesigned comprehensive B-1B aircraft maintenance training programs; highly regarded by superiors
as the most aggressive training program within the Air Education and Training Command, resulting in
subordinates excelling in all evaluated areas.

Oversaw the conception and development of two separate Air National Guard conversions from fighter
to bomber aircraft, comprising 130 qualifications skills, OJT training, and 25 professional military
education subjects in leadership curriculum.
