You are to pick a type of State Court of Limited
Jurisdiction and look up statistics for any year
2010-present. Preferably, I would like 2013
statistics because they would be the most recent.
Try and narrow your search to Oakland County,
for some courts this may not be possible such as
the State Supreme Court and Appellate Courts.
Write a short one page paper…again…after you
analyzed the statistics. What do those numbers
represent and what are the trends within that court.
Is it important to predict trends, why or why not. We
will go through this at the end of the hour to ensure
everyone understands the different types of courts
