David W. Jennings, CPA
David Jennings, Belfint Lyons & Shuman, P.A.,
specializes in providing tax planning and
compliance services for individuals, businesses,
estates and trusts. Dave joined the firm in 1998
immediately after graduation and then again in 2007
after working as the finance controller for a private
company for two years. This experience has given
him strong insight that helps his small business
clients.
Dave provides services to a variety of clients
including construction companies, law firms, and
nonprofit organizations. Many of his small business clients have multi-state tax
requirements where he assists with the determination of state nexus and filing
requirements. Throughout the year, Dave works closely with individuals and
small business owners to assist them in day-to-day planning and other concerns
that may arise.
Within the firm, Dave serves on the Tax Practice Quality Control Committee
where he assisted in developing the firm’s tax practice quality control
document. He also sits on the Staff Development Committee and is involved in
maintaining strong continuing education programs for the firm’s staff. Dave
has facilitated and presented at the firm’s internal annual tax update.
