Studying for your APUSH Unit 6-1 Test – Test on Finals Day
1. Make sure that your book, document, and class notes are complete.
2. Study your vocabulary terms (focus on the terms in your unit packet, but you might want to
go over those in your book)
a. Consider flashcards on notecards or on a flashcard app
3. Answer the “Review Questions” ON A SEPARATE SHEET OF PAPER
a. These need to be turned in as your “Review” separate from your notebook
4. Sign on to Launch Pad and do the Learning Curve Quiz for the chapters
a. For Unit 6-1 – this is Chapter 16,17,18
b. These will be extra credit on your review! Due by Day of your final 8am
5. Review other readings and/or their notes
a. For Unit 6-1 – you have lots class notes / charts
6. Look over the timeline at the end of each chapter
a. You don’t need to memorize dates, but you need to know the order in which events
happened
7. Come to study group to clarify any last questions
a. Tuesday 1/19 – lunch in room 125
b. Wednesday 1/20 - 7:45a-8:25a in room 125
Notebook Instructions - (28 points total)
Your Notebook HAS to be in this order. Use labeled dividers between the different sections:
1. Book Notes (including vocabulary and blue / green pages ) – 16 points total
a. Chapter 16 – 4 pts
b. Chapter 17 – 4 pts
c. Chapter 18 – 4 pts
2. Document Notes – 1 points total
a. Documents 1
3. Class Notes IF separate from your book notes – 11 points total
a. Mod 1: Chapter 16 Class Discussion Worksheet: The West – 4 pts
b. Mod 2: Chapter 17 Industrialization Worksheet – 5 pts
c. Mod 3: Chapter 18 Notes / Handouts – 2 pts
Review = 28 points total -> 1 point per question
