Studying for your APUSH Unit Test – Unit 6 1. Make sure that your book, document, and class notes are complete. 2. Study your vocabulary terms (both the Key Concepts and Events AND Key People) a. Consider flashcards on notecards or on a flashcard app i. Chapters 16-20: All Terms to Know 3. Answer the “Review Questions” at the end of each chapter a. These need to be turned in as your “Review” Separately from your Notebook! b. For Unit 3 this is: i. Chapter 16 Review Questions page 537: 1-4 ii. Chapter 17 Review Questions page 572: 1-5 iii. Chapter 18 Review Questions page 603-604: 1-5 iv. Chapter 19 Review Questions page 633: 1-4 v. Chapter 20 Review Questions page 665-666: 1-4 AND Making Connections #1 4. Review other readings and/or their notes a. For Unit 6 –You have a LOT of classwork notes/book notes to go over! 5. Look over the timeline at the end of each chapter a. You don’t need to memorize dates, but you need to know the order in which events happened 6. Sign on to Launch Pad and do the Learning Curve Quiz for the chapters a. For Unit 6 – this is Chapter 16,17,18,19,20 7. Come to study group to clarify any last questions a. Lunch day before test - Thursday February 5th in room 125 OR b. Day of the test (Friday February 6th) 7:30a-8:30a in room 125 Notebook Instructions - (32 points for Notebook and 46 points for Review) Your Notebook HAS to be in this order – one of your peers will be grading it this time! Use labeled dividers between the different sections: 1. Book Notes (including vocabulary ) – 4 pts per chapter (20pts total) a. 2 points for the reading notes, 1 point for vocab, 1 point for “green pages” 2.
