This is NOT a PAYROLL PROCESSING job but needs someone familiar with Payroll AND ANALYTICAL who is really good with HRIS technology, implementation but also needs to be personable to make presentations and recommendations. - Pay is going to be somewhere in the $35-45/hr range… Execute RFP for new system Take HRIS system and learn it and improve it Audit results and propose changes to correct process (not sure if making changes to system, but want to go through the process) Someone who understands technical system Will be back up payroll person-use Ultipro but would prefer someone that doesn’t have Ultipro experience so they can be a good set of eyes to see “what else is out there” Need a “people person” someone who presents well POSITION SUMMARY: This position will report to the HR Operations Manager and is responsible for overseeing current HRIS/payroll system. This position requires in-depth knowledge of an HRIS system with emphasis on functionality, time management and payroll. UltiPro experience preferred, but not required. This position will develop and implement company-wide training programs for time management, required report writing and building of shared report library, payroll processing, as well as other system related projects. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and maintain interface between HRIS and other employee data dependent systems such as ERP (SAP), Concur, Active Directory, Master Control, benefit vendors, & Facilities Propose improvements to existing system functionality and written processes based on evaluation and system audit Document system & business requirements culminating in RFP to consider potential alternate providers Assist with report writing and creating baseline inventory of departmental reports Perform group data updates, exports, imports Back-up Payroll processing Development of UltiPro Time Management training program for existing employees and future hires Assist with other projects as assigned (SAP implementation, Temp staffing, Intranet maintenance) - POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3-5 years HRIS and payroll experience.
