Course Load
Step 3: Exchange students may require permission numbers to enroll in any courses. Requests for
permission numbers should be emailed to your Marquette Coordinator.
Minimum course/credit load: 12 credits per semester
Maximum course/credit load: 18 credits per semester
Graduate students: 9 credits

Exchange students complete a Transcript Request Form by hand and turn it in to the Office of
International Education:

Transcripts
The Office of International Education submits the forms to the Registrar’s Office approximately one
week after the completion of final exams for processing. Transcripts are sent to the partner university.

No specific deadline, but notify Marquette OIE of housing preference at time of application. It is
strongly recommended that students live in Campus Town (Global Village) apartments. This
accommodation is first-come, first-served.

There is no formal housing application procedure, this is facilitated by the Marquette University OIE
using student housing preference responses submitted in the online application.
