Moving forward: 3 requests 2 EDPRS IWG Objectives Eight IWGs are being created, as forums for policy discussion and coordination among GoR (at Central and Province Levels) and Development Partners, to improve implementation. Each IWG comprises a number of sectors (including relevant line Ministries, government agencies and development partners) Each will be supported by a Secretariat, and chaired by the SG of the lead Ministry and cochaired by the lead Donor representative 3 EDPRS IWG Objectives (Cont’d) a. b. c. d. a. b. The primary role of the IWGs is: to ensure cross-sectoral coordination in policy implementation to discuss policy issues and monitor implementation to update the EDPRS Results and Policy Matrix to address implementation bottle-necks and provide recommendations on way forward IWGs will meet quarterly to discuss progress.
