Book 2: Orleanna’s Chapter (pgs 87-98)
1. In Book 1, it seems as if Orleanna is talking to the
reader. In Book 2, that changes. Find a line that
suggests she is talking to someone else (please copy the
start of the line, not the whole line, and the page
number). Who is she talking to (general, not specific)?
2. What does Orleanna reveal about Nathan (look at
the last paragraph on page 97 and the 2 paragraphs on
page 98)? Does this make him more or less
sympathetic? Explain.
3. Orleanna says their fate changed and was sealed on
one fateful day. What day is she referring to (quote is
on page 90 and it is about what happened in Book 1)?
