Fast Facts
How it works:
The system is installed on an aircraft enabling passengers (and crew) to make and
receive telephone calls, both via the handsets the company manufactures, and
with their own mobile phones. Users can send and receive texts, emails and surf
the internet; and send Faxes. TrueNorth has systems for cabin and cockpit.
The system uses Iridium and Inmarsat Satellite Networks and can also work with
Ku-band satellites
What makes Simphonē
OpenCabin is unique:
The system is the only apps-based solution on the market, simplifying upgrades.
The Stylus Handset sets the standard in design and is business aviation’s most
customizable phone on the market. The interface can be configured to function in
virtually any language, including those with dedicated alphabets such as Chinese,
Arabic, Russian, etc.
