Step 1
You will be assigned one of the following research topics:

Tribal Life
In your group, generate a list of questions about your research topic. These questions will help guide your
research. Each person in your group should be assigned at least one question. Your presentation should
contain the answers to these questions.
For example, if your research topic is tribal life, here are some possible questions:




What are tribes?
What are the benefits of tribal life?
What parts of the world practice tribal life?
What role does tribal life play in the novel Things Fall Apart?
Step 2
Your group is responsible for putting together a PowerPoint presentation that contains at least seven
slides on your assigned research topic.

Slide 2-6:
Slide 7:
Title and group member names
Answers to your research questions plus visuals (can also include video clips)
List of resources including URLs of Internet sites consulted
Step 3
You will be presenting your PowerPoint to the class. Each member of your team must present at least
one slide.
GRADING
You will be graded on the visual appeal of your presentation and your ability to use information that is
valid and reliable. DO NOT PLAIGIRIZE. You are expected to present information in your own words.
Plagiarism will result in a grade of zero for all team members.
Worth 1 Test Grade, due January 24, 2013 for periods 2, 4, & 6 and January 25, 2013 for periods 3
& 7.
