From Mrs. Werth:
8th grade English – This week we will begin predicate nominatives and predicate adjectives.
8th grade Literature – The test over “Raymond’s Run” was today instead of last week.
7th grade English – This week we are working with verbs.
7th grade Literature - We are reading the stories “All Summer in a Day”, “The Melting Pot”,
and “Was Tarzan a Three Bandaged Man?”.
6th grade English – There will be a Chapter 3 test on Wednesday.
6th grade Literature – The test over “All American Slurp” was today instead of last week.
From Mrs. Rozelle:
6th Math- Quiz on Tuesday, we will be finishing up Chapter 5.
7th Math- Finishing up Chapter 6, test beginning of next week.
8th Math- Quiz on Tuesday, will will be finishing up Chapter 5. Test beginning of next week.
Algebra- Finishing up Chapter 4, test is on Wednesday.
Writing- Peer editing of our fire prevention essays and final copy due.
From Mr. Lyons:
6th Grade Science- will be given their earthquake project on Thursday Nov. 20.
7th Grade Science - will have a science test on chap. 3 on Tuesday Nov. 18.
From Mr. Foote:
6th Grade Religion - We are in the desert with the Israelites learning how God made them into a
nation.
Middle School History
8th grade - Our current chapter is about the development of the western United States.
7th grade- our area of study continues on colonial life. The everyday doings of family life and
politics of colonial America.
6th grade - We are still learning about Egypt and the surrounding regions and geography of this
part of the world we call the middle east.
