We have finished setting our academic goals in class. We will check on if we have achieved our goals on Friday, February 13th. Math StandardRegrouping I have had a lot of parents asking about the second grade standard that says: 2NBT.7 I can add and subtract within 1,000 using many strategies. The strategies we use in second grade are number line, base 10 blocks, place value, and regrouping. There is a video on my website that explains how to use base 10 blocks to add and subtract with regrouping. I encourage you to check it out and see this strategy. Let your student teach YOU!
