Math StandardRegrouping
I have had a lot of parents asking about
the second grade standard that says:
2NBT.7 I can add and subtract within
1,000 using many strategies. The
strategies we use in second grade are
number line, base 10 blocks, place value,
and regrouping. There is a video on my
website that explains how to use base
10 blocks to add and subtract with
regrouping. I encourage you to check it
out and see this strategy. Let your
student teach YOU!
