Reports to: Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities: Pick up loads at donor locations throughout the country Make deliveries to thrift stores supported by the FBAMC Warehouse duties including (but not limited to) lifting, loading, unloading, cleaning, sorting, maintenance, repairs. Reports to: Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities: Schedule and confirm client’s appointments to see Board Certified Christian/Pastoral Counselor, Licensed Clinical Christian Counselor and/or NA and AA group leaders for alcohol and substance abuse recovery coaching and informal individual or group counseling. Compile and type counselor’s notes, reports and correspondence. Answer telephones, and direct calls to appropriate counselors/residents. Receive and route messages and documents such as laboratory results to appropriate staff. Make coffee and assist in keeping community center, offices and restrooms clean. Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate counselor. Interview client’s in order to complete applications, case histories and forms such as certificate of graduation from accredited/certified substance abuse treatment facility, criminal records check and program requirements. Maintain client’s case files, medical records and drug test results. Operate office equipment such as computer, copier machine, fax machine and telephone, and use software to generate counselor’s notes, reports and correspondence. Transmit correspondence and case notes and records by mail, e-mail or fax. Perform various clerical and administrative functions, such as maintaining an inventory of supplies. Assist with arranging family visitations for clients. Transcribe recorded messages and counselor’s diagnoses and recommendations into client’s clinical records. Assist with bookkeeping duties, such as collection of program fees, preparing and sending financial statements and keeping financial records. Prepare correspondence and assist counselors with preparation of reports, speeches, articles and conference proceedings.
