Sophomore English students will work on improving vocabulary through the Sadlier-Oxford Vocabulary
Workshop - Level E.
Students have online access to the supplemental materials found at www.vocabularyworkshop.com and the
student access code is on the bottom of the Copyright page in the front of the book: __________________. You
are using the 2012-2013 edition, Level E. Online resources include an audio presentation for each word, word
games and puzzles, and practice with multiple choice questions.
Students are responsible for studying independently. This program is cumulative so students should be
constantly reviewing ALL word lists.
It is highly recommended that students review vocabulary every night for homework.
We will spend two weeks per Unit. The schedule below indicates an example of what you can expect.
Vocabulary is the foundation for good reading comprehension. Good Vocabulary = Good Reading. 
