A Senior and Endowed Professor in Environmental Health Science The Department of Environmental Health Science in the College of Public Health, at The University of Georgia, invites applications for an endowed senior faculty position at the tenured full professor level. The appointment is an academic year appointment with an opportunity to supplement salary through external funding. We are interested in individuals with a strong academic record in research, teaching, and service in environmental health science; preferably with a focus in public health effects of environmental toxicants on human populations and mechanistic studies. Minimum qualifications include: doctorate/postdoctoral training in a discipline related to Environmental Health Science or related biomedical area; strong evidence for acquiring and administering external funding (current principal investigator with existing grants is preferred); strong evidence of ability to produce and communicate research; excellence in teaching and working with students; and a commitment to cultural diversity.
