Tyfone Executive Bios Dr. Siva Narendra, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer Siva is co-founder and CEO of Tyfone, responsible for Tyfone’s product architecture, roadmap and IP. Before his current responsibility, he was with Intel Laboratories specializing in energy and yield aware designs. He has authored over 60 technical papers in peer reviewed conferences and journals, and frequently lectures on technology forums. He also has over 100 issued/pending patents and holds five divisional recognition awards from Intel and an award in 2003 for having 19 issued patents in that year. Siva is a frequent speaker at a wide range of forums including ones sponsored by academia and industry as well as organizations such as IEEE, FSTC, CTIA, SmartCard Alliance and FTC. He is a co-author and editor of the Leakage [Energy] in Nanometer CMOS Technologies book published by Springer. Siva is an Adjunct Faculty with the Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Portland State University and Oregon State University. He is the chair of Technology Directions sub-committee at the International Solid-State Circuit Conference and has been an active member of the Technical Program Committees of A-SSCC, and International Symposiums focusing on Low Power Design (ISLPED) and Quality Electronic Design (ISQED). Siva has a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Siva is located in the U.S. Prabhakar Tadepalli, Chief Operating Officer and President Asia Pacific Prabhakar is co-founder and president Asia Pacific. Prabhakar is a seasoned technology executive and is responsible for all product and business development aspects of Tyfone in Asia-Pacific and is responsible for developing the strategic plans for the company. Previously, Prabhakar was founder and CEO of Finatus, Inc, a venture-backed, Web-application outsourcing company and was responsible for all the strategic and business management aspects of the company. Prior to founding the company, he was responsible for Strategic Planning at Intel Online Services, and also was part of the Intel Architecture Business Group's (Reseller Products Division) Small Business Services/Business Development team. Prabhakar received his MBA from the University of Chicago, an MS in Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas and a BE from Bharathiyar University in India. Prabhakar is located in Bangalore, India. Don Bloodworth, Chief Financial Officer Don has over 29 years of finance, operations, and technology expertise from a broad array of industry experience. He has worked for every size business from early stage to publicly-traded companies. Don started his career as a CPA at Deloitte and Touche and, from there, spent over 16 years at PacifiCorp, where he held senior positions with their Corporate Finance group and their subsidiaries. Don also served as corporate controller at AirTouch Communications (now part of Verizon Wireless) and at 3Com Corporation. He also served as CFO of GST Telecommunications, leading the entity through a restructuring that concluded with a sale of the enterprise to Time Warner Telecom. As CFO and COO of Medicalogic/Medscape, Don helped lead the enterprise through a series of staged dispositions with sales of major operating units to WebMD and GE Medical Systems. As CEO of Finatus, Don led this startup venture operating in the online environmental and workplace safety markets. Most recently, Don has served as an investor and consultant to emerging stage companies, including starting the award winning company Techjet Imaging located in Vancouver, Washington. Don is located in the U.S. Sam Wu, Vice President, Manufacturing Sam is responsible for developing Tyfone's business opportunities in the Asia-Pacific region. He has more than 13 years of sales and management experience in the technology industry, holding various positions. Prior to joining Tyfone, he was the sales director at AboMem Technology Corporation in Taiwan, a company which specializes in designing, manufacturing and marketing portable memory products and various test devices of memory products, including Linear Flash Card, SRAM Card, IDE Card , Multi Media Card, SD and MoBe USB Drive. While there, he was responsible for overall sales and played a key role in the development of sales strategy for new products. Sam also held sales positions at King Core Electronic and Zinwell Corporation. In those roles he was responsible for sales throughout the AsiaPacific region. Sam holds a Masters of Commerce degree from University of Wollongong, Australia. Sam is located in the U.S. Tyfone Executive Bios March 2013 Todd Nuzum, Vice President, Technology As vice president of technology at Tyfone, Todd brings more than 25 years of experience in technology research and development to this position, half of which have been spent in payment and financial services technologies. Before joining Tyfone in 2010, Todd spent 13 years as a business systems architect at First Data, one of the world’s largest providers of merchant processing services. At First Data, Todd and his team created a wide range of applications including self-services, customer services, collections, authorization networks, automated clearing house processing and fraud processing. Most recently Todd’s role at First Data included the implementation of a wide range of industry standard contactless payment solutions, including global platform application development, authorization, fulfillment and point of sale systems. Prior to First Data, Todd spent a decade as an engineer for telecommunication providers, primarily creating automated voice response units, text to speech systems, automated messages, and call switching. Todd also worked in software R&D at Hughes Aircraft and Sterling software on a number of communications applications including satellites, data encryption, and integrated messaging.
