C HILL O UT C ENTER

CHILL OUT CENTER: A place in the counselor’s
hallway for students to come and “chill out” when
emotions are running too high for being in the
classroom.
F RIENDS

Students may or may not be placed in a class/river
with any of his/her current closest friends from the
previous school. This is a huge part of “change” from
elementary school to intermediate.

We want students to look at this as an opportunity to
increase their friendship circle by making more
friends beginning within the new class.
