Unselfish Our focus is on what is BEST FOR THE TEAM The decisions we make are no longer about ourselves, they are about the team. Respect We respect ourselves. We are confident in our individual abilities. We respect our teammates and are confident in their abilities to finish the job. We also accept their encouragement and constructive criticism. We respect our coaches and all of the decisions they make, whether or not we are in agreement. We buy into the system, knowing each decision made is with the success and best-interest of the team in mind. We respect every team we face. We fear no team. We take no team for granted. We respect the game of baseball. Accountability We hold each other accountable both on and off the field. We expect the best and get the best out of each other We give 100% all of the time. These are two areas that we can always control. Every player plays an essential role to the success of the team. It is our responsibility to fill that role whether we play 7 innings, 2 innings or don’t enter the game. Whether we recognize it or not, we are observed as role models. We expect ourselves and one another to represent our team in a positive manner. Unity We win and lose as a team. While we may encounter many obstacles throughout the season, we will never fail to persevere as a team. We are a family and a constant source of encouragement and support for one another.
