TYPES OF GOVERNMENT
Most governments fall into two types of
governments – centralized and decentralized
 Centralized governments are where all the
power in controlled by either one person or a
small group of people
 Decentralized governments break up the
power to help prevent one person from
becoming too powerful

GROUP ACTIVITY
Get into groups of 3-4
 Each group will get a definition
 Copy the definition in your ISN
 The definitions will be rotated, make sure you
get definitions for all six.
 Copy the comparative government chart in
your ISN
 As a group fill out the chart using the internet

