Organizational Culture
The physical characteristics of our company includes working in an open environment, which will support easy
communication, collaboration and will maintain our dedicated matrix structure. Our company will require formal business attire to
create an appearance of power and demonstrate our traditional views. Weekly reports will be published internally to assign routine
work, which will help the company reach our overall objective. The vision statement will help attract many views from around the
world and bring in many sponsors for marketing efforts. This includes stadium sponsors, TV sponsors for broadcasting efforts,
vendors for food within the stadium, and subcontractor for the physical construction. Pace of the project is sharp and on time.
Deadlines must be set and meetings must start and end on time. Decision-making style follows the dedicated matrix structure. Prior to
beginning work day, all employees collaborate on current soccer news.
Member identity focuses on the job. Team emphasis is group. Neutral people focus. Unit integration interdependent. Control is
more towards the loose spectrum. Low risk tolerance. Reward oriented for future contracts. Conflict tolerance is neutral. Means-end is
neutral. Open system focus is external.

Estimating Project Time and Costs
Top Down:
Dana Rizkowski:I used the Consensus method to estimate my cost. By using experienced people I am able to discuss and reach a
decision for estimation. My estimate based on talking to others who have a lot of knowledge comes to 1.3 billion dollars.
Steven Love: Steven used the ratio method and his estimate was 1.3billion dollars.
Alex Mathiowdis: I decided to use consensus method to estimate the cost of our project. By using this method I was able to meet
with other FIFA board members and discussed costs of tournaments they have done in the past. My estimate is 1.75 billion in costs.
Tim Foster:The Top-Down approach that will be used is Ratio. We can use cost estimates from previous soccer tournaments similar in
size to The Golden Boot such as the 2012 Euro Cup. Using the ratio method we can determine a broad estimate. My estimate is 1.5
billion.
Bottom Up: We used the hybrid: phase estimating cost to estimate our costs.

Finalized Amount:
Our final amount is $1.35 billion. We came to this amount by using both our top down and bottom up approach. We each individually
came up with an amount on our own using different approaches. Two of us used the ratio method and two of us used the consensus
method. We each came up with different amounts of $1.3, $1.3, $1.75, and $1.5 billion. Then we all came together to form a bottom
up estimate. We used the hybrid: phase estimating to estimate our cost. By coming together, discussing, and researching other
tournaments we decided on individual prices for each task. Then, we added each task to come up to a final cost of $1.2 billion. Then,
we compared that to each of our individual estimates we discussed and came to a conclusion on our final price of $1.35 billion. We
used the bottom up estimate as a minimum price, and then decided we needed to add to that for protection against any situations that
may arise.
