(WATCH VIDEO) www.FloridaPanhandle-CFC.org 15 IMAGINE Dealing with Myths and knowing the facts •Myth: I could avoid administrative costs by donating on my own. •Fact: Either way there will be overhead; the CFC program saves you… Your time (to include research), gas, postage, bank fees, and/or processing fees. What we can do together! •Myth: No matter how much is raised, the same percentage will get taken in admin costs. •Fact: A budget is established before the campaign begins. The percentage spent on admin costs goes down as more money is raised. (CFC has validated the integrity and trust of all approved non-profits to increase your confidence in selection.) www.FloridaPanhandle-CFC.org 16 IMAGINE Myths and facts What we can do together! •Myth: The CFC adds cost to non-profits •Fact: The CFC makes the donation process efficient by pooling resources and significantly reducing each charity’s burden on soliciting. •Myth: $10/pay period won’t help anyone, anywhere. •Fact: The cost of one Big Mac per month is equal to the cost of a treatment for drug abuse. www.FloridaPanhandle-CFC.org 17 IMAGINE What we can do together!
