Introduction
1.1
Background
Being an organization or a company, a management system is the most important part. A
company may be small or large. According to their size and investment, they need distinct
type of management system. There are many such management systems which are older and
still different companies use them. They cannot hold as much information as a company
needs as it is older. With development of technology, management system has also been
digitized and makes possible to use very simply.
Management information System is a kind of system which provides different information
about a certain company. It is a system in which different information of company are
managed in a very digital and chronological way. In a modern era, management information
is built by IT professionals and publish them as a particular website through which every
needy people can get exact information of that organization.
Management information system, or MIS, broadly refers to a computer-based system that
provides managers with the tools to organize, evaluate and efficiently manage departments
within an organization. In order to provide past, present and prediction information, a
management information system can include software that helps in decision making, data
resources such as databases, the hardware resources of a system, decision support system,
people management and project management application, and any computerized processes
that enable the department to run efficiently.
1.2 Motivation
There are many projects to choose, but we choose this project because I found it
useful and easy. The program designed by me very is easy to use and understand. This system
has very vast scope and usability. Being an organization, an MIS is the most. Likewise I have
a consultancy which manages tuition classes for all level of students. Thus it also needs an
MIS for the proper management of information.
With the help of our respected teachers, I conclude to choose this project. They gave
me several ideas in choosing a good project. In addition I get information about this project
from my friends. I knew that we have to choose a project which is different from others and a
unique one. So I found this one useful and unique.

1.3 Objectives
There are many objectives of Management Information Systems. These areData Capturing:
MIS capture data from various internal and external sources of organization. Data capturing
may be manual or through computer terminals.
Processing of Data:
The captured data is processed to convert into required information. Processing of data is
done by such activities as calculating, sorting, classifying, and summarizing.
Storage of Information:
MIS stores the processed or unprocessed data for future use. If any information is not
immediately required, it is saved as an organization record, for later use.
Retrieval of Information:
MIS retrieves information from its stores as and when required by various users.
Dissemination of Information:
Information, which is a finished product of MIS, is disseminated to the users in the
organization. It is periodic or online through computer terminal.
1.4 Scope and Limitation
There is lots of scope of further enhancement in the search part. This is quite a simple
project. The report will enable future modifiers of the software to get a clear view of the
developed system of the “Management Information System”.
Some of the major scopes are:
Various information of company can be managed.
As per time and situation, information need to be updated. Hence it has provision for
that too.
Can be further modernized and modified as per the requirements of the users.
Besides its many advantages and scopes, the project will have some limitations also. Along
with the benefits of the project, there’ll be some demerits also.
Some of its limitations are:
Search engine won’t be included here.

Literature Review
Management Information System is one the of the core part of any organization or a
company. In accordance to previous days, MIS is a crucial part of them. MIS is a major
system through which an organization can manage all the required and important information
to their visitors as well as staffs and other personnel. Due to which they feel easier to do
several task parallel and in a prompt way.
Basically if we check out the previous days about this type of the project, we can find
them with many features and scopes added. With the increase in technology and researches,
people are searching good projects and works in the related field. They want something new,
something special and something useful. Developers have designed MIS in such a way that it
is now a very hard task to drawbacks and limitation of the system. They include very high
range of scopes so that practically it can be used and can be modified easily whenever
required. Their way of presenting and providing space for website and hosting is so properly
arranged that it’s not hard to build an MIS. Their MIS provide several information and data
so that customer and staffs could get good facilities fast.
Outlook of their MIS is somewhere attractive also. We can design outlook of MIS in
any decoration so that it looks attractive and easy in surfing.
My project is also a part of that. I have designed an MIS of my tuition center with a
view that my staffs and students can get true information about tuition center. I have tried to
make my MIS outlook attractive so that people can feel easy to surf. With reference to similar
system developed by developers in past days, I have designed my system with the similar
scopes and area of uses.

My project is carried in such a way that everyone whoever checks coding can
understand them so easily. Coding are carried out in a very chronological order. Contents are
managed in a very proper way so that if I have to change my website look, then I need to
change certain part of codes, not a whole system. I have designed my system in a software
Adobe Dreamweaver for HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript. For proper access to the
database, Xampp server is used. For its efficiency, the system is launched on LIVE server.
Most of all coding except database, Dreamweaver is used.
For access in my system, a control panel for admin is designed. A specific username
and password is specified for the admin so that only he can modify contents of system and
update information. Every notice for visitors, students and staffs will be published in the site
for easy of them. They won’t need to visit institute every time for certain information. Site
will provide every information about itself.

Result and Discussion
My project is totally multiuser based for busy schedule of the life so that important
appointments can be recorded. This project is proved to be very helpful for us for future
reference. It helps us to understand what the actually project means. We understand how to
complete a project in a managed way. Not only that we are helped to make very sensitive
coding also.
Conclusion
As a whole, we can conclude that the project is going to be useful and interesting for
the users. The project will be headed towards the promptness and accuracy so that anyone can
understand in an easy way.
As far as possible the project has been carried out with being errorless and problem
less. Hence the project has shown the good outcomes and performance. The easy coding
helped the future developer to modify the project in any way they like as per their
requirements. It`s uses won't go meaningless.
